Tim Welch, the coach of former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, has stated that his fighter might face Sean Strickland in his upcoming bout.
Welch mentioned on his YouTube channel that Adesanya is currently enjoying life after a busy fight schedule. He explained that Adesanya is interested in settling the score with Strickland in his next fight.
It`s worth remembering that Adesanya was defeated by Strickland via unanimous decision in September 2023. Following this loss, Adesanya competed twice more, suffering defeats to Dricus Du Plessis and Nassourdin Imavov.
