UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has offered his perspective on a possible fight between current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, the former featherweight titleholder.
Addressing the hypothetical matchup, Aspinall commented, “I don`t think it`s as straightforward as some might assume for Islam. However, my prediction is still that Makhachev will emerge victorious.”
It is important to remember that Topuria recently decided to move up in weight to the lightweight division, which led to him relinquishing his featherweight championship belt.
