The Grand Rapids Griffins have officially announced the signing of goaltender Trey Augustine to an amateur tryout (ATO) agreement for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. Concurrently, Augustine has also secured a three-year, entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings, which is set to begin with the 2026-27 season. Augustine was originally a second-round draft pick.
