
The St. Louis Blues have called up a promising young forward as they battle for a playoff spot.
On Saturday, the team announced the recall of Dalibor Dvorsky from their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Dvorsky, drafted 10th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, has impressed in his first professional season in North America with the Thunderbirds, scoring 20 goals and 23 assists in 57 games during the 2024-25 season.
He is among the top rookie goal-scorers in the AHL and played in the 2025 AHL All-Star Game representing Springfield in February.
The Slovakian teenager also stood out at the 2025 World Junior Championship, contributing five goals and four assists in five games for his country.
The Blues are currently holding the last wild-card position in the Western Conference, leading the Calgary Flames by two points and the Vancouver Canucks by three.
Dvorsky could make his NHL debut on Sunday when the Blues face the Nashville Predators at home.
