It appears Brandon Saad will be staying in Las Vegas.
Saad is reportedly nearing a new contract agreement with the Vegas Golden Knights.
The 32-year-old winger initially joined the Golden Knights in January, signing a one-year, $1.5 million contract after mutually terminating his previous deal with the St. Louis Blues via unconditional waivers.
Last season, he registered six goals and eight assists in 29 appearances for Vegas, following a stint with the Blues where he posted seven goals and nine assists in 43 games.
Over his extensive career spanning 935 games with the Golden Knights, Blues, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Chicago Blackhawks, Saad has accumulated 266 goals and 263 assists.
Originally, the Chicago Blackhawks selected the Pittsburgh native 43rd overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
