Former UFC competitor Matt Brown recently offered his perspective on who should logically step into the octagon next against Ilia Topuria. Despite Topuria`s recent callout of Paddy Pimblett, Brown expressed a strong conviction that Arman Tsarukyan is the more appropriate opponent at this time.
Probably, it will be Paddy Pimblett, but damn it, it should be Arman. We understand this, don’t we? Ilia called out Paddy, and that’s amazing. I won’t say he avoided Arman, but I would like this fight to be next.
Speaking on The Fighter vs. The Writer podcast, Brown clearly stated his preference for a showdown between Topuria and Tsarukyan, emphasizing that this particular matchup is the one he would most like to see happen next, irrespective of other potential pairings like the one with Pimblett.
