Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Cam York has signed a five-year contract extension worth $25.75 million to remain with the team. The agreement was first reported.
York, selected 14th overall in the 2019 NHL Draft, has played 235 career games for the Flyers, contributing 77 points. He has established himself as a key member of the team`s top defensive pairing.
A California native, York also won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2021 World Junior Championship.
During the 2024-25 season, he missed approximately one month due to an upper-body injury.
