Fans of the Montreal Canadiens can now mark their calendars as the team`s return to the ice is set.
The Canadiens will kick off their exhibition season on Monday, September 22nd, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Bell Centre.
This opening game is one of four home contests featured in the six-game pre-season lineup, which was officially announced on Wednesday. Montreal will also play two games away from home.
The schedule also includes a neutral site game against the Ottawa Senators in Quebec City on September 30th.
