
Forward Max Sasson is rejoining the Vancouver Canucks.
Announced on Friday, the Canucks have recalled the 24-year-old Sasson from their AHL affiliate in Abbotsford under emergency conditions.
Sasson previously debuted in the NHL with Vancouver this season, contributing two goals and four assists over 24 games. In the AHL this season, he has accumulated nine goals and 17 assists in 37 games.
The Canucks are currently missing forwards Elias Petterson and Nils Hoglander. Both players are in Vancouver receiving treatment for injuries sustained in Saturday`s game against the New York Rangers.
Vancouver is set to face the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday as part of their current six-game road trip.
The Canucks are currently five points behind the St. Louis Blues in the Western Conference wild-card race, with two games in hand.
