Following their Friday practice, the Vancouver Canucks are dealing with some mixed news regarding player injuries.

Tyler Myers, a key defenseman, is currently day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and is unlikely to participate in Saturday`s game against the Anaheim Ducks. He was injured during Wednesday`s game against the Seattle Kraken and missed a significant portion of the game.

Adding to the injury concerns, center Nils Aman was hurt during practice. He collided with the boards and had to be helped off the ice. His availability for Saturday is still uncertain as he is being evaluated.

There`s positive news concerning forwards Nils Hoglander and Elias Pettersson, who have both been out with injuries since March 22. While Hoglander is also expected to miss the Ducks game, he is nearing his return and fully participated in Friday`s practice. Pettersson is also improving, although there is no clear timeline for his return.
