WINNIPEG — Cole Perfetti has truly made his mark.
He has transitioned from being an inconsistent scorer to a reliable top-six forward. Perfetti is now a significant contributor, not just on the power play, but in all aspects of the game.
Perfetti has grown into a genuine top-tier forward, capable of influencing the game`s outcome.
His progression was perfectly demonstrated by his goal on Sunday, which secured the Winnipeg Jets` 3-1 victory against the Vancouver Canucks.
Late in the third period, Perfetti skillfully outmaneuvered Derek Forbort, slipping the puck between the defender`s legs. He then lifted the puck into the top corner of the net, past Vancouver goalie Thatcher Demko, all while falling to the ice.
“Everyone exchanged amazed glances,” said Mason Appleton. “Goals like that are rare to see.”
