The verbal sparring between fighters Colby Covington and Paddy Pimblett continues. Covington has taken to social media to further fuel the conflict, directly calling Pimblett a “sack”.
In his post, Covington dismissed Pimblett`s significance, stating, “Paddy Pimblett is insignificant, it`s time he stopped using my name to stay relevant. He is leveraging my name for attention because he hasn`t achieved anything of note. He will never contend for, nor win, a championship. He`s inconsequential.”
Covington further added, challenging Pimblett’s weight management and toughness, “When he addresses his extreme weight cutting and demonstrates some mental fortitude, and if he ever considers moving up to a more competitive division to face legitimate fighters, he will face a harsh defeat.”
