Daniel Cormier, a former two-division UFC champion and now a prominent commentator and analyst, recently shared his thoughts on the financial origins of current UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria.
Cormier pointed out that Topuria reportedly comes from a wealthy family and possessed significant financial resources even before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He then drew a parallel, mentioning that Arman Tsarukyan is also known to be from a privileged background.
“It`s quite a fascinating scenario to consider two individuals who are already wealthy potentially competing for the UFC championship belt,” Cormier stated. “It feels peculiar that the fate of the title could be decided in a bout between guys who didn`t primarily amass their wealth through fighting.”
