Daniel Dubois Confident: “I Will Destroy Usyk” in Rematch

IBF Heavyweight Champion Daniel Dubois has expressed strong confidence in his ability to overcome any opponent in the division.

Reports suggest the British fighter could potentially face unified champion Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch as early as July 12.

In a recent interview, Dubois shared his ambitious outlook, stating his determination to move forward and beat the best.

“I am not going to step back; I want to move only forward. I want to beat the best.”

Addressing the possibility of facing former opponent Anthony Joshua again, he remarked:

“If I get offered Joshua again—I will need to repeat what I did in the first fight.”

Looking ahead to a potential second clash with Usyk, Dubois made a bold prediction:

“Usyk? I will destroy him when we meet next time.”

He reflected on his development, adding that he has become a different boxer, hardened by significant fights, and ready to face challenges.

“I have become a different boxer as I have progressed with each fight. Loud fights have hardened me. If someone wants to test me—they will get what’s coming to them. There are several veterans in the heavyweight division—and I am ready to send them all into retirement.”
