Beneil Dariush, currently ranked ninth in the UFC`s lightweight division, has voiced strong confidence in his ability to compete effectively against the former champion of the weight class, Islam Makhachev.
Speaking in an interview with MMAJunkie, Dariush asserted, “It would have been a finish. Neither of us has ever lost by decision. I don’t think I would have given up. I am certain I would have won.”
It should be noted that Makhachev recently vacated his title and has moved up to compete in the welterweight division.
