Demidov Practices on Line with Newhook and Armia

All eyes are focused on Ivan Demidov as he approaches his highly anticipated NHL debut on Monday.

The Montreal Canadiens` prized prospect participated in morning skate drills alongside center Alex Newhook and winger Joel Armia, hinting at his potential line placement for the upcoming game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Coach Martin St. Louis mentioned that Demidov is also slated to be part of the second power-play unit. He also indicated a willingness to adjust line combinations during games as needed.

St. Louis addressed reporters, emphasizing a balanced perspective: “It`s crucial for everyone to understand that he is not a singular savior. We are a strong team already, and he will integrate as a valuable component of that team – that`s our vision.”
