Devils Re-Sign Cody Glass to Two-Year Contract

The New Jersey Devils have secured forward Cody Glass, announcing Wednesday that they have signed him to a two-year contract. The deal is valued at a total of $5 million, carrying an average annual value (AAV) of $2.5 million.

Glass, 25, joined the Devils organization after being acquired at the trade deadline this past season. In 14 games with New Jersey following the trade, he contributed two goals and five assists. Prior to moving to the Devils, he appeared in 51 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he recorded four goals and 11 assists.

A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Glass was originally selected sixth overall by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Throughout his NHL career, which spans 252 games with the Devils, Penguins, Nashville Predators, and Golden Knights, Glass has accumulated 93 points, scoring 35 goals and adding 58 assists.
