The New Jersey Devils have finalized a one-year, one-way contract with forward Juho Lammikko. The deal is valued at $800,000.
The 29-year-old Lammikko is joining the Devils after a successful season in Switzerland`s National League with the ZSC Lions, where he recorded 13 goals and 38 points over 48 regular-season contests.
His performance extended into the playoffs, contributing five goals and eight points in 13 games as the Lions secured the NL championship.
Across his three years playing in Switzerland, Lammikko accumulated a total of 48 goals and 112 points in 144 appearances.
Originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the Finnish forward has previously played 159 NHL games for both the Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks, registering 11 goals and 26 points during that time.
