UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis commented on the potential timing of his fight against Khamzat Chimaev.

“We have two potential dates, and I`ve already agreed to both,” Du Plessis stated. “An announcement will be made soon. The fight is expected to happen within a couple of months, or four at the latest. While nothing is signed yet, I have already given my agreement for either date.”

It`s worth noting that UFC head Dana White previously confirmed the Du Plessis-Chimaev fight was agreed upon, but specified it wouldn`t occur before July.
