Dana White, CEO of UFC, has announced a highly anticipated rematch between flyweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O`Malley. They will headline UFC 316 on June 7 in Newark, South Carolina.
The co-main event will feature a significant women`s bantamweight title fight. Julianna Pena, the current champion, will defend her belt against Kayla Harrison, a decorated two-time Olympic champion and former PFL star.
The first bout between Dvalishvili and O`Malley took place last September. Dvalishvili emerged victorious by unanimous decision. In January, Dvalishvili successfully defended his title for the first time, securing another unanimous decision win against Umar Nurmagomedov, handing Nurmagomedov his first professional loss.
