Following the reveal of Lewis Hamilton as the cover star for the F1 25 Iconic Edition, EA Sports has shared more information about the upcoming racing game. F1 25 is set to launch on May 30, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The Standard Edition of F1 25 will feature a trio of drivers on its cover: Oscar Piastri from McLaren, who recently won the Chinese Grand Prix; Carlos Sainz of Williams, who earned points for the team in Shanghai; and Haas rookie Oliver Bearman, who also scored his first points for the American team at the same race weekend.
Fans of story-driven gameplay will be pleased to know that Braking Point, the game`s narrative mode, will continue with Braking Point 3. This installment will follow the fictional Konnersport team as they compete for the championship after their progression in the previous chapter. F1 25 will offer adjustable difficulty settings for the single-player mode, catering to both new players and experienced veterans.
EA Sports has also promised a significant revamp of the popular My Team mode, with a focus on team management aspects. Players will have increased responsibilities and can participate in races as either of their team`s drivers. Visual enhancements to several tracks are also expected to improve the overall gaming experience.
Pre-orders for F1 25 are now open through EA and Codemasters, offering several incentives. Early buyers of the Standard Edition will receive the F1 75 Celebration Pack, the F1 World Starter Pack, and 5,000 PitCoin in-game currency. Purchasers of the Iconic Edition will gain access to a selection of F1 24 season liveries, Hamilton-themed in-game items, and post-launch story chapters featuring the fictional APXGP team from Apple`s upcoming Formula 1 movie.
