EA Sports has rolled out update version 1.03 for its F1 25 racing simulation, available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This new patch is designed to resolve a variety of issues impacting gameplay.
Among the key fixes is an adjustment to the visual representation of light rain. Previously, a bug could make damp track conditions appear dry, potentially confusing drivers and affecting strategy – a significant problem in a high-stakes racing environment.
Balance adjustments have also been implemented. In the Driver Career mode, the game`s optional, fictional teams, Konnersport and APXGP, were found to be receiving an overly generous amount of resources at the start of a season, giving them an unfair advantage compared to the real Formula 1 teams. While this update won`t retroactively deduct points from existing saves, the rate at which these teams earn resources has been corrected. Their resource accumulation will now become balanced relative to other teams over time.
Players who experienced unexpected track limit penalties at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium may find relief. The update addresses issues where some trackside markers were incorrectly positioned, giving players a false sense of available space. A similar fix has been applied to the track in Miami. Both circuits also received minor surface improvements, both on and off the asphalt.
