Fleury and Ovechkin Among Masterton Trophy Finalists

The 32 finalists for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy have all demonstrated exceptional resilience and determination, overcoming personal obstacles to excel in hockey and significantly contribute to their respective teams.

The nominees, one from each NHL team, were announced on Wednesday.

This prestigious award annually honors the player who best embodies perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey. Winners are selected by the local chapters of the Professional Hockey Writers Association.

Recent recipients of the trophy include Connor Ingram, Kris Letang, and Carey Price, highlighting the esteemed nature of this recognition.
