Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone`s availability for Monday`s crucial Game 4 against the Edmonton Oilers will be a game-time decision, head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed to reporters.
Stone, who was forced to leave Saturday`s 4-3 victory prematurely due to an upper-body injury, did participate in the team`s morning skate. He was seen skating on the top forward line alongside Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev.
The specific incident causing the injury remains unclear. However, during the previous game, Stone had incidental head contact with the knee of Oilers forward Corey Perry and appeared to be experiencing discomfort immediately after the play.
The 32-year-old veteran has been productive in the playoffs, tallying eight points (four goals and four assists) over nine games so far.
In the regular season, Stone finished second on the Golden Knights in scoring, recording 67 points (19 goals and 48 assists) in 66 appearances.
Edmonton currently leads the second-round series with a 2-1 advantage heading into Game 4.
