Leading Irish welterweight fighter Ian Harry has commented on the possibility of lightweight champion Islam Makhachev moving up to the welterweight division (77kg).
Harry stated, “Makhachev`s potential move is very interesting. He`s incredibly talented in all areas of MMA and is a very complete fighter. Plus, he wouldn`t have to endure difficult weight cuts at welterweight. I would absolutely love to fight him! If you consider yourself the best, you need to test yourself against fighters like Makhachev. To the UFC, I`m saying: call me! Do you think I would refuse?”
