The Winnipeg Jets` defensive lineup could see significant changes for Game 2 of their series.
Defencemen Josh Morrissey and Logan Stanley participated in practice on Thursday wearing regular contact jerseys. Head coach Scott Arniel informed reporters that their availability for Friday`s game against the Dallas Stars will be a game-time decision.
Morrissey was forced to leave Game 7 of the previous series against the St. Louis Blues early in the first period after being hit into the boards by Oskar Sundqvist.
In the first six games of the first-round series, he registered three assists while averaging 23:30 of ice time. During the regular season, the 30-year-old defenseman recorded 14 goals and 48 assists over 80 games.
Stanley has appeared in five playoff games this post-season, recording no points, a minus-2 rating, and accumulating 42 penalty minutes. He was replaced in the lineup by Haydn Fleury for the double-overtime Game 7 victory, where Fleury played 33:02.
Dallas currently leads the series after winning Game 1 with a 3-2 score on Wednesday, highlighted by Mikko Rantanen`s second consecutive hat trick.
Game 2 is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. CT.
