Legendary former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has named the toughest opponent of his career.
“People are surprised when I say that Evander Holyfield was my toughest opponent. Don`t confuse him with Ray Mercer, whose fight I called the toughest fight of my career.”
Considering Evander`s amateur and professional experience, it becomes obvious how successful he was in the ring. I can joke with him a bit. He knows I won both fights, even though he won`t admit it. But seriously, he is the only one who fought me for 24 rounds,” Lewis is quoted by Give me Sport as saying.
