Liverpool Premier League Title Parade 2024-25 Details

Liverpool have secured the 2024-25 Premier League title after defeating Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield, with four matches still remaining in the season.

The team, now managed by Arne Slot, last held a trophy parade in 2022, celebrating their FA Cup and Carabao Cup wins. Since the club couldn`t properly celebrate their 2020 league title win due to Covid-19 restrictions, they are planning a major celebration this time to include their fans.

Liverpool City Council Leader, Councillor Liam Robinson, has formally invited the club to a victory parade to celebrate the Premier League triumph, and the club has officially accepted.

When is the Liverpool trophy parade?

The official trophy presentation won`t happen until the final game of the season against Crystal Palace at Anfield on May 25. Therefore, the title parade will not take place before this date.

Conveniently, the day after the final match, Monday, May 26, is a bank holiday in the UK. The open-top bus parade through the city is scheduled for approximately 2:30 pm local time on this day.

Liverpool title parade route & where it will go

Following a similar route to the 2022 parade, the bus is expected to start on Queen`s Drive, proceed to Mill Bank and West Derby, and conclude on Blundell Street.

This route was also used for the 2019 Champions League victory parade. The parade is anticipated to last around five hours and will also pass through areas like Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand.

This celebration is particularly significant as it`s the first major league title parade the club has held since 1990, due to the circumstances surrounding their 2020 win.

For safety reasons, fans are reminded not to bring pyrotechnics or flares.

How to watch Liverpool`s trophy parade?

Liverpool`s official channels, including LFCTV (Sky channel 425, Virgin Media channel 544) and LFCTV GO, are expected to provide live coverage of the parade, similar to the 2022 event. Streaming may also be available on the club`s official social media platforms.

Who will be involved in Liverpool`s parade?

Three open-top buses carrying players and staff will travel the approximately nine-mile (15 km) route.

Former manager Jurgen Klopp, who led the team to the 2020 title, will be in Liverpool for an LFC Foundation event just before the parade weekend. While he will be in the city, it is considered unlikely he will join the parade bus.

Live music is expected from DJ and Liverpool fan Calvin Harris, who may be on one of the buses.
