Javier Mendez, coach of Islam Makhachev, has commented on the potential upcoming fight between his fighter and UFC welterweight contender Jack Della Maddalena.
“Islam is on a completely different level; Jack has never faced an opponent like him. We are in for an incredible show, and you will see Islam perform at an absolutely phenomenal level and dominate. Weight will not be a problem — he will be a very competitive welterweight,” Mendez stated in an interview with Submission Radio.
