Maple Leafs Fall to Predators After Giving Up Five Straight Goals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Predators defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2 on Saturday night, overcoming a two-goal deficit to end their four-game losing streak.

Filip Forsberg led the Predators with two goals and an assist. Luke Evangelista contributed a goal and two assists. Michael Bunting and Kieffer Bellows also scored for Nashville. Goaltender Juuse Saros stopped 24 shots.

For the Maple Leafs, Mitch Marner scored a goal and provided an assist, while John Tavares also scored. Joseph Woll made 27 saves in net. Toronto`s three-game winning streak was halted by this loss. Auston Matthews assisted on two goals.
