Irish MMA star and former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor recently praised bantamweight titleholder Merab Dvalishvili, highlighting the Georgian fighter`s notable perseverance and journey in the sport.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), McGregor commented on Dvalishvili`s path to success: “Years after his defeats, he became the UFC champion and now defends his belt. What a handsome! Merab is a star.”
Dvalishvili is currently scheduled for a highly anticipated rematch against Sean O’Malley. The fight will serve as the main event of UFC 316, taking place on June 7th in Newark, USA.
