Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of Johnny, shared news of the arrival of their third child in an Instagram post on Monday.
Meredith revealed that their son, Carter Michael Gaudreau, who shares his middle name with his father, was born on April 1st and “looks just like his daddy.”
Expressing her love, Meredith wrote, `I love you so much my baby! We are going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever.`
She also added a touching message to her late husband, `John, thank you for giving me our beautiful family. We love u, Daddy and miss you so much.`
Johnny and his brother Matthew tragically passed away last August after a car accident while cycling in Salem County, N.J.
Meredith had announced her pregnancy with Carter at the memorial service for Johnny and Matthew in September.
Carter joins his older siblings, Noa and Johnny Jr., born in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
