The National Hockey League has officially announced its selections for the All-Star and All-Rookie teams for the recently concluded season, recognizing the top performers across all positions.

The First All-Star Team features a lineup of elite talent. Named were forwards Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Kucherov, and Kyle Connor, defensemen Cale Makar and Zach Werenski, and goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Several of these players are repeat selections, solidifying their status among the league`s best. Hart Trophy winner Hellebuyck earns his third nod, Ted Lindsay Award recipient Kucherov makes his fourth appearance, and Norris Trophy winner Makar is selected for the third time to the first team. Both Connor of the Jets and Werenski of the Blue Jackets are first-time honorees on the top team.

The Second All-Star Team includes forwards Leon Draisaitl, Brandon Hagel, and David Pastrnak, defensemen Victor Hedman and Quinn Hughes, and goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy in net.

In addition to the senior All-Star teams, the NHL also highlighted the league`s most impressive first-year players by naming the All-Rookie Team. This team consists of forwards Macklin Celebrini, Cutter Gauthier, and Matvei Michkov; defensemen Lane Hutson and Denton Mateychuk; and goaltender Dustin Wolf. Hutson was also this year`s recipient of the Calder Trophy, awarded to the league`s top rookie, while Celebrini was the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
