CHICAGO — Luke Hughes contributed three assists, and Jesper Bratt added two, helping the New Jersey Devils overcome their three-game losing streak with a victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Nathan Bastian, Timo Meier, Ondrej Palat, Dawson Mercer, and Stefan Noesen all scored for the Devils. Jesper Bratt now boasts a career-high of 84 points this season. Goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped 21 shots.
Nico Hischier extended his point streak to eight games by assisting on Noesen’s goal into an empty net. Since March 11, Hischier has accumulated four goals and five assists.
