EDMONTON — For the first time in their careers together, the Edmonton Oilers will play without both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
Coach Kris Knoblauch announced on Friday that both players are expected to be out for at least the next week due to injuries.
Regarding McDavid’s condition, Knoblauch stated it’s a day-to-day situation, estimating his absence to be around a week.
The timeline for Draisaitl’s return is similar. He is also expected to be sidelined for approximately one week.
