The Edmonton Oilers are set to give Olivier Rodrigue his first NHL start.
The 24-year-old goaltender practiced in the starter`s net as the Oilers prepared for their away game against the Anaheim Ducks.
Rodrigue previously experienced NHL action in a relief appearance against the Seattle Kraken on March 27, where he saved seven out of eight shots.
This season in the AHL with Bakersfield, Rodrigue has an 18-15-7 record, a 3.05 goals-against average, and a .899 save percentage.
Rodrigue was recalled by Edmonton on an emergency basis due to Stuart Skinner being sidelined after taking a knee to the head from Dallas Stars` Mikko Rantanen.
