American mixed martial arts fighter Aaron Pico, who recently signed with the UFC, has commented on the potential fight between current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and former lightweight title contender Ilia Topuria.
Pico stated, “I think it`s a great matchup for the sport, to be honest. There`s a lot of fan interest in seeing Islam and Topuria face off. They both have very distinct fighting styles. However, I believe Islam is just on another level, even for someone like Topuria. Still, it`s a fight I`d be very interested in watching.”
