Puryear: “I’d Like to See Pimblett Fight Hooker”

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier has been discussing the future of Paddy Pimblett in the division after his recent victory over Michael Chandler.

According to Poirier, Pimblett should now be regarded as a serious contender in the lightweight division. While acknowledging Chandler`s credentials, Poirier believes Pimblett needs to face a top-tier opponent to truly test his abilities. He suggested names like Gamrot, Oliveira, or Tsarukian as fitting challenges. However, speaking as a fan, Poirier admitted he would be particularly excited to see Pimblett go head-to-head with Dan Hooker, anticipating a highly entertaining clash.

It is worth recalling that Pimblett secured a knockout victory against Michael Chandler at UFC 314, which took place in Miami, USA.
