San Jose Sharks Select Michael Misa Second Overall in 2025 NHL Draft

The San Jose Sharks have selected center Michael Misa with the second overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Misa had a dominant season in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit, recording 62 goals and 134 points in 65 games. His performance led to him winning the league`s scoring title and MVP award.

His 62 goals are tied for the third-highest total ever by a draft-eligible player in OHL history.

Granted exceptional status to enter the OHL a year early, Misa was the first overall selection by the Spirit in the 2022 draft and played a key role in Saginaw winning the Memorial Cup last season.
