Oscar Piastri has taken the lead in the driver standings for the first time in his Formula 1 career after winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday. This marks his third win of the season.

Race Highlights:
- Safety car was deployed on the first lap when Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda crashed, forcing both drivers to retire from the race.
- Max Verstappen received a five-second penalty for gaining an unfair advantage by going off track while battling with Piastri in the first corner.
- After serving his penalty during the second pit stops, Verstappen rejoined the race in fifth place, behind Piastri.
- Following the second pit stop sequence, Piastri emerged as the race leader, and Lando Norris recovered to fifth place after starting tenth due to a qualifying crash.
- Piastri won the race, followed by Verstappen in second and Charles Leclerc in third place, completing the podium.
