Sean Brady, a top-ranked fighter in the UFC`s welterweight division, has publicly stated his interest in competing against fellow contender Ian Garry.
Explaining his position in a recent interview, Brady asserted that he believes a fight with Garry is ultimately inevitable. He questioned why they shouldn`t face each other sooner rather than later to resolve the potential matchup. Brady also mentioned that he had previously proposed this fight to Garry when other divisional rivals, Jack Della Maddalena and Belal Muhammad, were scheduled to compete, seeing it as a logical step while waiting for a potential opportunity at the title.
