
Pius Suter is set to join the St. Louis Blues after finalizing a new contract.
The Blues announced Wednesday they have signed the center to a two-year deal. The contract carries an average annual value of $4.125 million.
The 29-year-old is coming off a productive season with the Vancouver Canucks in 2023-24, where he registered career highs in goals (25) and total points (46) over 81 games. He also matched his personal best for assists with 21.
Prior to his time in Vancouver, which began when he signed as a free agent before the 2023-24 campaign, Suter played for both the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Across his NHL career, the undrafted Swiss forward has accumulated 162 points from 80 goals and 82 assists in 364 games played.
Suter`s new salary represents a significant increase compared to his previous two-year contract, under which he earned a total of $1.6 million.
