The Dallas Stars may welcome forward Jason Robertson back into their lineup for the commencement of their second-round playoff series against the Winnipeg Jets.

Robertson has been recovering from a knee injury sustained on April 16 during the team`s final regular-season game. This injury kept him out of action for the entirety of the opening playoff round against the Colorado Avalanche.

In a positive development, the 25-year-old skater participated in practice on Tuesday, taking drills with teammates Wyatt Johnson and Mason Marchment.

He`s close.

Robertson was a key offensive player for Dallas during the regular season, appearing in all 82 games. He finished second on the team in scoring, recording 80 points from 35 goals and 45 assists.

Regarding the Winnipeg side, injury updates indicate that forward Mark Scheifele and defensemen Josh Morrissey and Logan Stanley will be game-time decisions for the first game.

The Jets are set to host the Stars for Game 1 of their playoff series on Wednesday. The game is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. ET, or 8:30 p.m. CT.
