Taylor Raddysh signs two-year deal to join Rangers

Taylor Raddysh will continue his career within the Metropolitan Division, as the forward has signed a two-year contract with the New York Rangers.

The signing was officially announced by the team on Wednesday.

Reports from NHL insider Frank Seravalli indicate the agreement is valued at $1.5 million per season.

Raddysh, 27, spent the previous season with the Washington Capitals, who won the division title. He registered seven goals and 20 assists over 80 regular-season games, adding one assist in seven playoff appearances.

The native of Caledon, Ontario, was originally a 58th overall pick by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2016 NHL Draft. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning during his NHL career.

Across 305 career NHL contests, Raddysh has accumulated 100 points, scoring 43 goals and adding 57 assists.
