Toronto Maple Leafs Ink Luke Haymes to Two-Year Contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have officially signed center Luke Haymes to a two-year contract, the team announced on Monday.

Haymes` contract is set to commence in the 2025-26 season. For the rest of the 2024-25 season, he will be playing with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL on an amateur tryout basis.

At 21 years old, Haymes recently played for Dartmouth College in the NCAA. Despite an injury-shortened season, he managed to score 12 goals and assist 6 others in 22 games.

Hailing from Ottawa, Haymes has an NCAA career total of 83 games with Dartmouth, accumulating 41 goals and 29 assists. He was recognized for his performance by being named to the 2023-24 NCAA All-Ivy League First Team and the NCAA (ECAC) First All-Star Team.
