Arman Tsarukyan, a top contender in the UFC lightweight division, recently provided his technical analysis comparing the abilities of reigning champion Islam Makhachev and former undefeated champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Offering a breakdown of their respective skill sets, Tsarukyan commented, “From a purely technical standpoint, Islam is definitely on another level. If you examine Khabib`s striking technique—his kicks or boxing—they are quite different. However, Khabib`s core strengths lie in his pressure, grappling, ground control, and endurance. But overall, technically speaking, Islam possesses a higher level of skill.”
