Forward Gabriel Vilardi is scheduled to travel with the Winnipeg Jets as they head to St. Louis for their upcoming road game.

The skilled winger participated in team practice again on Wednesday, wearing a yellow non-contact jersey. Head coach Scott Arniel confirmed that Vilardi would be on the flight to Missouri.

The Jets are set to face the Blues in Game 3 of their best-of-seven Western Conference opening-round playoff series on Thursday. Winnipeg currently holds a 2-0 lead in the series. Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday.

Coach Arniel also mentioned that winger Nikolaj Ehlers, who is dealing with a lower-body injury, will not be joining the team for the trip.

Vilardi had previously missed the final 11 regular-season games due to an upper-body injury. He had a productive season before that, scoring 27 goals and tallying 61 points in 71 games played.

During his absence, Alex Iafallo took Vilardi`s position on the top forward line alongside left-winger Kyle Connor and center Mark Scheifele.
