Fresh off their historic Brazilian Cup triumph, Vôlei Renata seamlessly continued their winning momentum, securing a decisive straight-sets victory over Suzano in the Brazilian Men’s Superliga.

The Campinas squad, competing away at Arena Suzano, delivered a commanding 3-0 performance (26-24, 25-17, 25-19) during the 19th round of the 2025/26 Superliga season.

Despite a tight schedule for celebration and recovery following their Brazilian Cup win last Sunday in Londrina, Vôlei Renata presented a strong lineup. Key outside hitter Adriano Xavier, the Brazilian Cup’s top scorer and MVP, was rested as a precaution due to ankle discomfort. Renan Bonora stepped in, contributing 10 points effectively.

Argentine opposite Bruno Lima spearheaded Vôlei Renata’s attack, leading all scorers with an impressive 16 points and a 64% attacking efficiency. Maurício Borges also made a significant impact, adding 12 points and earning the MVP title for his outstanding performance. For Suzano, outside hitter Robert Dos Anjos led their scoring with 12 points, closely followed by opposite Guilherme Sabino who tallied 10 points.
