Aryna Sabalenka concluded the WTA`s March U.S. swing with a dominant victory at the Miami Open.
While the World No. 1 has previously proven her prowess on major hard courts by winning the Australian and US Opens, this Miami title marks her first at a prestigious Sunshine Double event.
Sabalenka expressed her delight in winning the title in Miami, a city she considers a second home due to having a residence there. `I can`t say we live here because we travel every week, but I have a place here, so it feels like home,` she said after her victory. `I`m super happy to come back home as the champion of the tournament.`

Honor Roll
While there`s only one singles champion, many players stood out in Miami:
Alexandra Eala: The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough week, defeating major champions Iga Swiatek, Madison Keys, and Jelena Ostapenko to reach her first WTA semifinal and break into the Top 100, becoming the first player from the Philippines to achieve these milestones.
Emma Raducanu: The British star, known for her historic 2021 US Open win as a qualifier, reached her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal this week in Miami. It was her first time winning four consecutive tour-level main-draw matches since the 2021 US Open.
Jessica Pegula: WTA 1000 finals are becoming routine for World No. 4 Pegula, who has three titles and three runner-up finishes at this level. Miami is a familiar stage for her, having reached the quarterfinals or better in the last four years.
Magda Linette: The Polish player defeated Coco Gauff for her first Top 10 win of the year, reaching her second career WTA 1000 quarterfinal.
Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider: After winning an Olympic silver medal last summer in their first doubles event together, they are now the No. 2 team in the PIF Race to the WTA Finals, having secured their first WTA 1000 title in Miami.
