As part of the ongoing Mutua Madrid Open tournament, several prominent WTA tennis players recently visited the facilities at Real Madrid City. This group included notable names such as Ons Jabeur, Camila Osorio, Demi Schuurs, Luisa Stefani, and Beatriz Haddad Maia.
Upon their arrival, the tennis players were welcomed by members of the Real Madrid women`s football team. The welcoming party from the football club included Athenea del Castillo, Caroline Weir, Rikke Møller Jensen, Linda Caicedo, and Antonia Silva. The meeting took place just ahead of the footballers` training session.
The athletes from both sports exchanged gifts and took a moment to acknowledge the connection between football and tennis during this major combined event. This interaction celebrated the blend of different sporting worlds.
The 2025 Mutua Madrid Open is scheduled to continue at the Caja Magica venue through May 4th.
